Vehicle & Roadside Inspections

Our web-based Vehicle & Roadside Inspections training is aimed at educating commercial vehicle operators on the critical nature of vehicle and roadside inspections, and the elements that drivers or enforcement officers will scrutinize during these inspections.

Vehicle & Roadside Inspections

COURSE OVERVIEW

Today, there are in excess of 8 million commercial vehicles registered and actively operating on our roads. To ensure safety, law enforcement officials perform well over 2 million inspections annually.

Despite these efforts, accidents involving large trucks still happen, often with devastating results. As a response, the U.S. Department of Transportation (DOT) has initiated programs like CSA 2010 to hold drivers and trucking companies more accountable for maintaining a safe fleet.

Our web-based Vehicle & Roadside Inspections training aims to help commercial vehicle operators understand the critical nature of vehicle & roadside inspections. It also highlights the elements that drivers or enforcement officers will scrutinize during these inspections.

Upon completion of this course, participants should be able to:

  • Understand the importance of performing daily vehicle inspections
